The IWTSD selected SMART SHOOTER in February 2020 as a solution for its Individual Weapon Overmatch Optic (IWOO) project. The US Department of Defense’s Irregular Warfare Technical Support Directorate (IWTSD) has approved the SMART SHOOTER individual tactical weapon, paving the way for prototype production with delivery of the first functional system at the end of 2021. ![]()
